Disabled woman's car theft arrest

A 16-year-old has been arrested in connection with an incident during which a car was stolen from a disabled woman in Edinburgh.

The car, which had been left running by a mechanic who had been fixing it, was taken on Tuesday at 1825 GMT from the East Parkside area.

A 77-year-old disabled woman reported the theft of a car. A gold Toyota Yaris was recovered on Friday.

A report is being sent to the procurator fiscal.
