A Blind adventurer attempting a charity flight from London to Sydney has appeared in newspapers in India in a bid to reach his £1m target.

Miles Hilton-Barber and co-pilot Richard Meridith-Hardy are flying halfway round the world to raise money to fight preventable blindness through Standard Chartered Bank's charity Seeing is Believing.

So far, Mr Hilton Barber, of Ferrers Crescent, Duffield, has travelled over France, Italy, Corfu, Greece and Oman. Next stop is Burma.
