Harrogate 2025 - Spring Conference

LDDA is looking forward to seeing everyone in March!

Bournemouth 2025 - Autumn Conference

Will you be in Bournemouth for Lib Dem Conference this September?

Training

We will be running a training session titled “Selling yourself as a disabled candidate”

This interactive session will go through how disabled candidates in all elections can sell their skills and talents. It will lay the groundwork for ensuring disabled candidates can promote their abilities. This session is open to all wanting to find out more about supporting disabled candidates or if they identify as disabled. Also those who have or suspect they have something which would put them under the disability protection of the Equality Act - even if they do not identify as disabled such as neuro-divergent individuals or mental health illnesses.

That will be in Bournemouth International Centre, Avon Room at 4.15pm on the Saturday.

Also there is a consulation session earlier that day organised by Federal Conference Committee / Conference Access Group.

They say: “This is your chance to help improve disability access at future conferences. Join in an informal discussion and tell us - what else can be done?”

Thats in the Bournemouth International Centre, Avon Room, 1pm

Stall

Be sure to visit the stall for the Liberal Democrat Disability Association - number 45 in the exhibition area, next to the Association of Lib Dem Trades Unionists and Young Liberals.

It's a great opportunity to find out about LDDA's work to raising awareness and understanding of disability both through the Liberal Democrats, and the rest of society.

Also to join us, or renew your membership. You don't have to be disabled to join LDDA - we welcome any Lib Dem member with an existing interest in disability issues, or who would like to learn.
