Disability hate crime must be taken seriously

"I want to make sure other people don't go through what I did. That's why, even though it's hard and painful, I'll always speak out." - Nicky Nicky's flat was vandalised, her fuse box tampered with and she was called names when she left the house. Too scared to go home, she started living on a friend's sofa. Despite reporting it all to the police, nothing was done.
