Liberal Democrats from across the UK - and beyond - will come together for our Spring Federal Conference this weekend.
Following an invitation to Westminster from Chloe Smith MP, our interim Chair, Julie Adnams Hatch, attended the launch of a paper on Improving Disabled Representation in Parliament on Tuesday, 1st March 2022. It was reasonably well-attended, despite the travel difficulties caused by the tube strike, and was a great opportunity to also meet with a variety of other disability activists, including Barry Ginley, Chair of the Conservative Disability Group.
Our Annual General Meeting is open to all members of the Liberal Democrat Disability Association.
During National Hate Crime Awareness Week, LDDA executive member and wheelchair user Julie Adnams Hatch shares how a recent experience of hate crime affected her. She explains how to report hate crime and why it's so important to record every incident. This #NationalHCAW we want to talk about disability hate crime.
